We are a short walk to downtown Petaluma, just a few blocks from parks, dining, a pool hall, a beer garden with a living roof, and the Petaluma River. Smart Train is 3/4 of a mile. A second-story, two-bedroom flat in a duplex. There is also a detached home in the complex. It's just basic apartment living, though I have a private yard with a productive garden to eat from. Washer and Dryer in the garage. Wi-Fi, streaming services, etc. included. (note: images are a couple of years old. It actually looks a little bit nicer. Replaced couches with a large leather recliner couch. Our first Nomador sitter returned for all our subsequent sits since, so I haven't had to update the advert. I will update when I have a minute))

We are an artistic adult and teen. Lots of musical instruments. My house is eclectic. We spend our money on experiences, not decoration, though I do have antique and vintage items from my late grandmother. Instruments include guitars (electric, acoustic, classical), an electric bass, a cello, several ukuleles, a full-sized electric piano/synthsizer, djembe, mics, some basic home-recording equipment. We live on a quiet, dead-end street. We are walking distance from downtown Petaluma, half a mile from the center of town. 35 miles to San Francisco, 35 minutes to the Sonoma Coast, Russian River, or Redwoods. Lots of nature a short drive away, and lots of (small) city amenities within walking distance. My home is basic. I've lived here with my daughter for 10 years. Large, south-facing windows to let in the winter sun. The cats are sweet.

We are close to San Francisco, Oakland, Sonoma, Napa, the ocean, Mendocino, the Redwoods, mountains, rivers... Being walking distance to beer gardens that offer outdoor dining and music is nice. Downtown Petaluma is nice. You can also take a kayak in the river about 1/2 a mile away.

It was such a pleasure to take care of Dora & GG for Soni. I felt so welcomed and equipped with all the information needed to ensure the cats had all they needed. She also made sure I felt welcome in her town & home, which really just made my stay there special. Petaluma is a sweet little town with so much character. & the cats are adorably affectionate. Anyone who is lucky enough to be brought in to look after them is going to have a ball.
