There is a weekly farmer's market on Wednesday a block away and one on Sunday about a mile away. There is a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods walking distance, as well as a 7-11, and several restaurants and eateries, including Western Market, a new food court. The Kennedy Center is close by and has free daily concerts (Millenium Stage) in addition to their other shows.
