I retired in October 2020 as a production manager in the steel industry. I decided to move to Marathon, FL with a friend to live on a catamaran and run an Airbnb. All went well until we had boat issues and were forced to sell the boat. I returned to Indiana in April, 2022. I was working full time as a house manager/pet sitter in a beautiful 8,000 sq. ft. home with two dogs. However, that ended in August 2023 as my father's health was failing and my mother was residing in a nursing home recovering from a broken hip. My father passed away last November, and my mother has settled into her new facility. I now have a little more time to travel as long as it fits into my schedule.

I grew up on a farm in northern Indiana. I helped raise cattle, pigs, horses and chickens. While married, we had a rehabilitators license, and cared for and raised whitetail deer and bred Redbone coonhounds. Now single, I usually pet sit for my youngest daughter's two rescue dogs, and my oldest daughter's cat. I've always had a small garden and many flowers in my yard if you need some landscaping help. Over the years, I've traveled to several states in the USA and other countries and rented homes and apartments on Airbnb and VRBO. I've had very good reviews upon leaving. Most said that the home looked better than when I arrived! As a former Airbnb host, I can assure you that your home will be well taken care of.
