--ENGLISH:

My name is Jati, and it is Indonesian for 'Teak tree' (FR: un teck; SP: un árbol de teca). I was born and raised in Indonesia. When I turned 18 I moved out of my parents' home to go to University. Following the completion of my Bachelor's study, I began traveling and living all over Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East, North America, West Africa, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and India. 

In 2017 moved to the U.S. and made Southern California my home. I take advantage of the Mediterranean-like climate by spending as much time outside under the sun as possible. I enjoy running, bike riding, swimming, or practicing yoga at the beach. When I am not out in the sun, I spend a lot of time cooking, baking, or tending to my collection of tropical plants -- I am interested in plants and have very green fingers! I speak English, Bahasa, and some French. 

I studied International Relations for my Bachelor's and later on, went back to school to attain my Master's in Teaching. I worked as a Kindergarten Teacher and a Private Tutor simultaneously for ten years. I currently work as an Administrative Assistant for Los Angeles Ballet and a Personal Assistant / Senior Caretaker for my partner.

I have a lot of experience in taking care of animals. My mother was a veterinarian and a geneticist. I grew up surrounded by farm animals (i.e. cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and fish). My grandma had three beautiful red tabby cats that I played with when I visited her. My sister and I shared a hamster, Noldy, and a rabbit, Thomas, when were growing up. But I am a dog person! Because of my travel and work, I am not able to commit to becoming a full-time dog owner. But I dog-sit and take care of my friends' dogs regularly. I spend a lot of time with August, a very handsome German Shepard; Noodle, a giant (170 lbs / 75kg) St. Bernard-Poodle mix; Tessa, a black Labrador Retriever with endless energy; and Freddie, a very gentle brindle American Boxer mix. I would feed, take them for a long run or walk, and play with them when their owners are out of town for the weekend, or out of the country for a couple of weeks. 

On a personal level, I am educated and very interested in science, languages, history, cultures, geography, and politics. I am personable, kind-hearted, well-mannered, respectful, and generous in spirit. 

I am looking forward to helping you take care of your pets and your house, and get to see and experience different and exciting locales, be it in Southern California or in a different country.

Je m'appelle Jati. Mon nom se traduit par « Arbre à teck ». Je suis né en Indonésie et après avoir obtenu mon diplôme universitaire, j'ai commencé à voyager et à vivre dans toute l'Asie du Sud-Est, en Australie, au Moyen-Orient, en Amérique du Nord, en Afrique de l'Ouest, à Hong Kong, à Taiwan et en Inde.

En 2017, il a déménagé en Californie du Sud (États-Unis). Je profite du climat méditerranéen en passant beaucoup de temps au soleil. J'aime courir, faire du vélo, nager ou pratiquer le yoga à la plage. J'aime aussi cuisiner et prendre soin de ma collection de plantes tropicales. Je m'intéresse aux plantes et j'ai la main très verte! Je parle anglais, bahasa, et un peu de français.

J'ai étudié les Relations Internationales pour mon Baccalauréat et, plus tard, je suis retourné aux études pour obtenir ma Maîtrise en Enseignement. J'ai travaillé simultanément comme Enseignante en Maternelle et comme Tutrice Privée pendant dix ans. Je travaille actuellement comme Aassistant Administratif pour le Los Angeles Ballet et comme Assistant Personnel/Gardien Principal pour mon partenaire.

J'ai beaucoup d'expérience dans la garde d'animaux. Ma mère était Vétérinaire et Généticienne. J'ai grandi entouré d'animaux de la ferme -- des vaches, des chèvres, des poules, des canards, et des poissons. Ma grand-mère avait trois magnifiques chats tigrés roux avec lesquels je jouais lorsque je lui rendais visite. Ma sœur et moi partagions un hamster, Noldy, et un lapin, Thomas, lorsque nous grandissions.

Mais je suis un amateur de chiens! En raison de mes voyages et de mon travail, je ne peux pas m'engager à devenir propriétaire de chien à plein temps. Mais je m'occupe régulièrement des chiens de mes amis. Je passe beaucoup de temps avec August, un très beau Berger Allemand ; Noodle, un mélange géant (75kg) de Saint-Bernard et de Caniche ; Tessa, un Labrador Retriever noir à l'énergie inépuisable ; et Freddie, un Boxeur Américain bringé très doux. Je les nourrissais, les emmenais faire une longue course ou une longue promenade et je jouais avec eux lorsque leurs propriétaires étaient hors de la ville pour le week-end ou hors du pays pendant quelques semaines.

Sur le plan personnel, je suis bien éduqué et très intéressé par les sciences, les langues, l'histoire, les cultures, la géographie et la politique. Je suis aimable, bienveillant, bien élevé, respectueux et généreux d'esprit.

J'ai hâte de vous aider à prendre soin de vos animaux de compagnie et de votre maison, et de découvrir et de découvrir des endroits différents et passionnants, que ce soit en Californie du Sud ou dans un autre pays.
