Greetings, my name is Emily and I am looking forward to sharing my love of animals, nature, and home care with you! I work remotely for a company in New York so I can call anywhere with reliable WiFi my office! I am currently looking for house sitting opportunities that will allow me to: care for your garden and house plants, maintain your home (cleaning, collecting mail, taking out garbage, etc), and most importantly, caring for your pets and other animals like they were my own!

I will be available for short and long-term house-sit opportunities and I'm available to face time {via Skype, etc} so that we can get to know each other and make sure we are a good fit!


As a house sitter, I bring my genuine desire to maintain your home while you are away. I want to create a calm environment for pets and animals, and to keep their schedules and routines as unchanged as possible. I love to garden and enjoy being around plants and wild flora. I grew up in the country surrounded by horses, sheep, goats, farm dogs and cats, birds... I love them all. I look forward to new experiences while ensuring your home is in the best of care.

I want to house sit because it provides a valuable service to the community (you!) and allows for new experiences for the sitter (me!) I understand how hectic planning a vacation or trip can be when you have to figure out the logistics of pet care, home care, and lawn and garden maintenance. Your animals should not have to leave the comfort of their own home, and your garden should not wither because you need to leave. Let me help you out with that!


I have previous house sitting experience through the MindMyHouse website and Trusted Housesitters. I've volunteered internationally through WorkAway and have lived and worked on farms, communes, and with a wide range of agricultural, animal, (and human!) responsibilities :) If you're interested in details, I'd love to chat about my experiences!
