I absolutely love Rita & Bill and all their fur and feather babies. What a privilege it was to watch this glorious home in the jungles of Ojochal. I cannot wait to go back, great people and lovely lifelong friends.

Communication with Rita was so open and enthusiastic that I felt comfortable right from first contact. She and her husband, Bill, are friendly and welcoming. They call when they say they will, answer questions quickly, and were easy to meet up with when we arrived. They had all the information we needed, both about the pets and home and about things to do in the area, in written form. They even left us some homemade things and produce in the fridge to tide us over til we could go grocery shopping. The pets are great. Molly the dog has her job guarding the property and does it with enthusiasm. She is friendly and loyal and eager to please and protect you, in a word: adorable. Otis the cat is all personality, chatting and bossing you around and cuddling and purring. It was a lovely place to stay and relax and enjoy the sweet pets, the refreshing pool and the gorgeous setting, to the sound of birds, monkeys, frogs and the river. The house is quite a long way up a rocky road so not for those who must have a lively night life, and not for those who are squeamish about bugs, snakes or things the cat brings home. It's early to bed and early to rise. You must also take lightening, electrical outages, and sometimes having the water off, all in stride. It IS in the jungle in Costa Rica after all. Surprisingly, the wifi was excellent, and the cleaner and the gardener both do a fantastic job. This is a great sit. Highly recommended. It was a pleasure to meet Rita and Bill, Molly and Otis
