We are a couple living in Puglia, southern Italy. I am an architect who moved from Chicago, USA to Italy 5 years ago and joined my partner Caleb who has been living in Puglia for 18 years. My work as an architect is primarily in masonry restoration, and I work in between Chicago and Italy. Caleb is a filmmaker who is close to completing his first narrative feature of which he was the director and cinematographer, in addition to the short films and music videos he creates.
We have two dogs, Curly and Zibibo, and one cat, Chiacchierone (Italian for mouthy, because he has a lot to say!) that live in the Italian countryside with us. We live on 2 1/2 hectares of land in the countryside. and take care of 400 trees, mostly centuries-old olive trees, and we make our own extra virgin olive oil and wine.
We understand the importance of finding a responsible, trustworthy person to look after your home while you are away because we also like to travel and need to trust our place to friends. As homeowners ourselves we know how to keep a place clean and tidy with good maintenance and care. As animal lovers we know how to provide lots of love and care to your pets.

Amanda and her partner Caleb stayed in my house to look after my two dogs in February 2018. They did a wonderful job. The dogs really bonded with them which shows how much they cared for them. I never had such a good feeling traveling and leaving my dogs behind, as when I knew that they would be there looking after them, as if I would be home. I would invite them again for another dog sitting anytime, they are always welcome in my home.

Amanda and Caleb are a very kind and interesting couple who looked after our home and cats for Christmas and New year. Our home and cats were very well looked after. We had a couple of days with them before we left and we enjoyed their company and also gave them the opportunity to settle in and observe the routine of cats and house . We would welcome them back again in the future.
