Retired Firefighter
We're a married couple in our sixties, healthy, energetic and keen travellers who currently live in France near our daughter and her family. We do not smoke and rarely consume alcohol.
I am a retired firefighter and keen handyman with a wide range of skills including metal and wood as well as general handyman and home maintenance and I have experience with basic swimming pool care. My wife loves all types of handicrafts and has a broad knowledge and a great deal of practical experience with gardening having worked with both cool and hot climate gardens, environmental revegetation projects and vegetable gardens (organic/permiculture).
We travel a great deal now that our children have their own families. We do not have domestic pets of our own at the moment but it is a pleasure to look after the 'family members' of others. Previously we owned a rural property running sheep and having chickens, a milking cow and several horses and feel that we could competently care for farm animals as well.
Having both retired in recent years we are looking to see more of the world and to experience 'living like a local' in some interesting locations. We have lived in our current home in a very small rural community for almost 30 years and enjoy city, town and rural lifestyles.

Grant et Sharaan on su s'occuper parfaitement de nos chats et de notre intérieur. Nous avons pu communiquer facilement entre nous malgré la différence de langues et nous avons passé de bon et chaleureux moments ensemble ! Si vous voulez partir sereins de chez vous nous vous les recommandons sans hésitations !

Sharaan and Grant were great housesitters. The communication before, during and after the house-sit was easy and very friendly. They took good care of my house and most important of my 2 cats. They kept me informed while I was away and that made it easy for me to relax and enjoy my trip. When I came back they had left me a lovely note, a clean house and happy cats :). I would definitely be glad to have them back at my house some time. Thanks a lot for being so kind, friendly, caring and reliable.

Première expérience avec Nomador pour moi ! J’ai été en confiance tout de suite avec Sharaan et Grant qui sont très très gentils. Notre chat avait été opéré une semaine avant mon départ en vacances donc il était tout juste en convalescence et Sharaan et Grant ont été très attentifs aux consignes et aux petits soins pour lui. La maison était rangée et toute propre à notre retour : super ! Merci beaucoup à tous les deux.
