We loved our stay at Spencer & family's home and enjoyed very much taking care of their adorable cats Olaf & Opal, and lovely home and garden. They were so friendly and welcomed us so warmly that we felt perfectly at home and made our stay in Lyon a memorable one. You will enjoy housesitting for them, highly recommended! Juliet and Spencer are lovely people who welcomed is warmly into their home the day before they left. It was so nice to meet them and the kids, and the cats. We really enjoyed staying in their house, not only because it is a beautiful home but also because they are such lovely people.

We had a very peaceful stay here. It's a beautiful house with a big garden and ample space. The cats are very independent and only come home when hungry or in need of a little affection. The garden required frequent watering (especially since we had some really hot days during our stay), which became a pleasurable daily task. The place was equipped with everything we needed. La Mulatière is on the outskirts of Lyon so things like going into the city or buying groceries required some effort without a vehicle, but everything else was great.
