Love and cuddle animals daily, feed them, clean cat litter tray and go for walks with the dog (lead free) and sometimes the cats. Look after the security of the house and land and keep it clean and tidy whilst your here. Ideally having your own car would be preferable but not totally essential (a car is available sometimes). Summer is hot here 20-38 degrees. Autumn/Winter - Heating is a wood burner you will need to light and keep topped up if needed. You need to be comfortable with spending most of your time at my location so if you have a hobby or online work that is ideal as this will give you time, space and peace and quiet to do it.

Idyllic Retreat in Old Wooden House set in Forest with Cats, Goats and a Dog. Quiet idyllic peaceful location. Streams, forest, a barn, main house, 35 mins from the capital Zagreb. A few minutes drive to our small town which has most things you will need. It has many small food shops, a bank, petrol station, doctors surgery, pharmacy, 2 restaurants, an outdoor market in a Wednesday, fruit shop, bakeries and a church. There is also a bigger town 15 mins away which has larger supermarkets and other services if needs be.

Peace and quiet. Connection with nature. Great if you like walking and cycling. A bicycle is available to use and sometimes my car will be here for you to use if you have a full and valid driving license.

Zagreb the capital is 35 mins away and is packed with loads of things to do. It is a laid back city with beautifully kept parks and open space. You also have another city called Varazdin which is a very creative city and lovely architecture.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at Tamara's house: It was the perfect place for me to work on my own projects all while being surrounded by quiet nature, lovely dogs & kittens, and the creative atmosphere Tamara has created in her home. I adored staying in the tiny house, but also cooking meals in the really well-equipped kitchen, and hanging out on the amazing porch. Tamara was very welcoming and flexible about dates, and I very much enjoyed hanging out with her during a few days before and after her holiday. She made sure to take me grocery shopping by car before she left, organised for me to have a bike to get around, left super clear instructions for the care of the animals, made sure friends and family dropped in now and then for a chat, and even showed me around Zagreb. Thank you for having me, Tamara! Hope to see you again next year :)
