My cat Mika is very easy to care for. She loves playing with her toys in the evening time. She has no special requirements. She has free reign of the house. At night when it starts to get dark please make sure she is inside with you. She does not go out at night at all.

Small one-level house in a quiet hillside hamlet in south west France. Only 5 minutes from all amenities. A great place to relax, go for walks, taste some great wine, and generally chill out. House has a cozy wood burner for snuggling up in winter. There is electric heating too. During the warmer months, there is a small garden with a terrace area for eating and enjoying the sunshine. Parking is off-road by the house. A car is recommended but if you don't have one I do have an electric bicycle that can be used. Happy to pick up and drop off sitters at airports or train stations. There are 2 airports, Bergerac and Bordeaux, the nearest station is only 10 minutes at Ste Foy la Grande.

I have a lot of CD's and vinyl albums that are very diverse. English and French books to read. DVD Blue Ray Player and many DVD's. TV is also a smart TV.

All facilities are only 10 minutes by car. I have mobility issues myself. Whilst the house is not set up for a wheelchair it is very easy for someone like myself who has walking difficulties. It is an easy house to look after. Quiet location but not isolated in a friendly hamlet, mainly French speakers, but there are 2 English speakers too if problems should arise.

The area is all about wine, may Chateau where you can go wine tasting, all very affordable. If you like wine you will love the region. The local train also only takes 35 minutes to get to Bordeaux, which is a wonderful city to visit.
There is a local cinema, just 10 minutes away which shows original version films, as well as French.
There is actually a beach too, a river beach on the Dordogne River, only 5 minutes from the house. A lovely riverside walk too.
