I had the pleasure of staying at Corie and Barbara’s lovely home in Germany, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Even though they could only be there for the first and the last day, their warmth and hospitality made me feel immediately at home. They were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that I had everything I needed and providing clear instructions for the house and their sweet cat, Lucy. Speaking of Lucy, she is the most good-natured old lady of a cat, full of charm and gentle affection. Taking care of her was a joy, and her calm presence added to the peaceful atmosphere of the house. The summer passed beautifully, and I thoroughly enjoyed the serene environment and cozy home they provided. Corie and Barbara are thoughtful, considerate hosts, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a delightful house-sitting experience. Thank you again for the opportunity – it was a memorable stay!

I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to spend five weeks in Corie and Barbara's home in Grafing! They have an absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable home, garden and yard. Their home and yard are immaculate, and it was lovely to enjoy fresh vegetables from the garden! Corie, Barbara, and their family were very communicative and hospitable. They made me feel right at home! Grafing is a lively yet peaceful town situated perfectly between Munich and the foothills of the Alps. I was able to explore several spots in Bavaria thanks to the frequent trains that run through Grafing. And the best part about staying for five weeks was their beautiful kitty! She is so friendly, cuddly and easy to be around. She was delightful company! I would welcome the chance to return to spend more time with her. I highly recommend cat and house sitting for Corie and Barbara!

Corie und Barbara waren die besten Hosts, die man sich vorstellen kann! Sie haben mich super herzlich empfangen, sogar am Bahnhof abgeholt und am Ende wieder hingebracht, haben mir nicht nur für meine To-Dos alles Notwendige gezeigt, sondern auch welche Dinge ich als Freizeitbeschäftigung tun kann. Bei Fragen konnte ich ihnen jederzeit via Direct Messenger schreiben und habe auch sehr zügig eine Antwort erhalten. Ab und zu haben sie auch mal nachgefragt, wie es so läuft - aber bloß, um mir gegebenenfalls Unterstützung anzubieten. Insgesamt haben sie mir sehr viel Freiraum gelassen, ich habe mich keineswegs von ihnen ständig kontrolliert gefühlt oder derartiges und durfte sogar Besuch einladen und ihn im Haus übernachten lassen. Die Eltern von Barbara waren in den 6 Wochen Housesitting 2x zu Besuch da, was aber absolut in Ordnung ging, da Barbara und Corie im Voraus mit ihnen abgesprochen haben, dass sie sich bei einem Besuch telefonisch ankündigen. Vom Garten durfte ich Obst und Gemüse für meinen eigenen Bedarf ernten und sogar im Haus ein paar Lebensmittel mitverwenden, insbesondere die Sachen aus dem Kühlschrank, die sie selbst vor Abreise nicht mehr essen konnten. Für das Auto haben sie sogar extra die Versicherung erweitert, damit auch ich das Auto in der Zeit nutzen kann. Und darüber hinaus haben sie mir sogar alle möglichen Gutscheine hinterlassen, die ich in der Stadt nutzen konnte. Zu meinen Aufgaben bei Barbara und Corie haben das Füttern der Katze, Reinigen des Katzenklos, Gießen der Zimmerpflanzen und das Gießen der Terassenpflanzen gehört. Die Pflanzen im Gemüsegarten, sowie ein Grab am Friedhof brauchte ich bloß gelegentlich gießen, immer dann wenn es sehr heiß war und es seit ein paar Tagen nicht geregnet hatte. Im Haus von Corie und Barbara habe ich mich außerdem absolut wohlfühlen können! Sie leben in einer richtig schönen Kleinstadt in der Nähe von München, die Nachbarschaft ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch ihr Einfamilienhaus im Almstil ist wirklich super gemütlich. Es hat 2 Etagen, 2 Badewannen, Balkone, Terasse, einen kleinen Garten mit Rasen und (wie erwähnt) angebautem Gemüse, ein Arbeitszimmer, Fernseher, einfach alles, was das Herz begehrt. Mit dem Auto und der S-Bahn ist man in ca. 45 min in der Münchner Innenstadt, mit der Regionalbahn geht es sogar in nur 25 min bis zum Münchner Hauptbahnhof. Die Stadt hat 2 Bahnhöfe.
