We have a friendly cat. His name is Oskar, 7 years old. He can come and go whenever he likes and needs to be fed in the morning and at the evening. We also have a big garden and a vegetable patch. This has to be watered depending on the weather conditions. You are welcome to harvest the salad and the vegetables. The lawn has to be mowed once every two weeks. Please look after the mailbox and the garbage cans.

The place is very quiet and relaxing. Nature is just outside the door. Great for walks and hikes in the countryside. Also perfect for running and mountainbiking. There are shopping facilities, a pharmacy, doctors and restaurants within walking distance. The public swimming pool is a 5 minutes walk away. The next bus stop is 7 minutes away with a good connection to Darmstadt. From there you have great connections to Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Mainz and the Rhine-Main-Area.

Darmstadt is a prospering university city, the number one science city in Germany. A visit to Frankfurt and Heidelberg is a must-do. On the first weekend of July there is a big fair in the center of Darmstadt with fun attractions and lots of music.

Amazing hosts. Lovely family that welcomed us into their home with open arms ands made us feel very comfortable. We had breakfast with Ari, Ralph, Tim and Caroline before they left for their holiday. The home is very clean and modern in a lovely quiet town. Local people are very friendly and the neighbours also very welcoming. Oskar the cat is very easy to look after ands spends most time doing his own thing sitting the day. We had a very relaxing time here and just wish we could have had more time with the wonderful host family... they are genuine and warm people.
