we especially need animals and plants to be looked after, food once a day for dogs and chickens. 2 times a day for cats. especially in the summer, water the flowers and plants and also the vegetable garden during the "cool" hours, which the guest can use of course!

It is a house built in several periods. between 1700 and 1920. typical manor house, 4 km from the walls of Lucca and the historic centre. A car is needed to go shopping. however, we do have bicycles available. the house has 3000 square meters of garden around the house, a small stream divides the garden from the wood which is also owned. there is the possibility of taking beautiful walks in not too demanding routes, which start already outside the house. we have 2 dogs (Ombretta and Coco), 2 cats (thelma and titti), 4 hens (fresh eggs every day) a garden with seasonal vegetables. inside a large living room with kitchen and a wood stove for the winter. the guest room has its own independent entrance directly from the garden. it is equipped with its own bathroom and immediately nearby there is a private parking for the car. you sleep wonderfully, and in the summer we have a small swimming pool (a former wash house), very convenient for cooling off!

the house is 2 km from the first mini market and the pharmacy and bar. 1 km from the bus stop, 4 km from the center of Lucca. there are also large supermarkets. the house is cool in summer and warm in winter. (there are 1 meter sights!) very quiet and away from main roads. the garden is large and spacious. we have a comfortable pergola for having lunch and dinner outside in the summer. a hammock to rest in the shade of an age-old linden tree. a very small tub to cool off in the summer. we have other houses around us. the neighbors are very nice and friendly.

we believe there is little to say about tuscany.. the city of Lucca is a jewel, a very ancient city but with a very special history, one of the few cities in the world with still intact medieval walls! many museums around. aesthetics at the highest level. natuira and beautiful hills. right in the same street as our house there are vineyards that produce some of the best wines in the world. the sea is 25/30 minutes by car, the Apuan Alps 40 minutes away. many trakking routes. excellent restaurants and in summer many events such as jazz festivals and concerts. but also open-air cinemas or exhibitions. I also recommend visiting the botanical garden and taking a walk or bike ride on the city walls.
