Our 2 lovely cats are Ms. Fletcher (Fletchie), around 6 yo., and Micio, 1 yo., mother and son. They both love to get attention and are playful. She is very independent and goes for strolls at her own wish. He has altered mobility, a consequence of an infection that affected him as a kitty, but he walks, jumps, goes down and up the stairs and is very healthy. The sitter will feed them as per instructions and keep fresh water available. Clean the litter box 3 times per week. We wish for someone who can combine enjoying the area with keeping them company a bit everyday. While people are away they stay indoors, without the option to go to the courtyard, and move freely through a cat door, in and out when someone's home.

Our home is the top floor, attic, of a main house which is the ground floor, where friendly neighbours live. There is also an annex which is used as a holiday house by another person. The house has what it takes to be comfortable, bedroom, living room with fireplace and kitchen area, bathroom with shower, an office and a storage room. The ceiling is low at the edges of the rooms, as it is an attic. Outside there's a shared courtyard and garden. Respectful and friendly environment.

It's at the edge of the village, peaceful yet a short walk away to a mini-market, small shops with fresh food (bread, meat, fish, vegetables), restaurants where you can get fresh fish and some pubs. Cash machine in the village. Friendly environment. Weekends and holidays with sun bring more people, those with second homes and tourists. The beach is 500m away, the ocean waves can be heard from the bedroom.

Located at the footstep of a pine forest that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. From the house to the beach it's about 500m. The pine forest leads to the cliff and from there you can reach the beach. Although the ocean on this beach needs to be addressed with caution it is possible to bathe. There is a naturist beach as well. Astonishing sunsets and views over the ocean. Lot's of beautiful places to hike and sunbathe. Aldeia do Meco is 12km away from Sesimbra, a picturesque fishermen's village, also with beach, with quiet waters, and many interesting sights to visit. 10km away from Cape Espichel, a landmark of the region. Also 10km away from Sesimbra's beautiful castle. 15 km away from Arrábida Natural Park.

One of the most enjoyable pet sits I've ever had. Anna Teresa & Alessandro gave me a warm welcome and were very friendly, easy-going, and understanding during the duration of my stay in their place. Their kitties: Micio and Fletchie are both a joy to be around and very easy to take care of. Fletchie is more on the independent side, while her son, Micio, is a super social and curious boy. Both are cuddly, peaceful and make great (even if often sleepy) company. The flat is comfortable and safe, with everything one may need for a few weeks stay. I have utterly loved the zone of Meco/Sesimbra, which I find extremely beautiful and could not stop exploring. Very grateful for that assignment. Thanks for having me, Ana & Alessandro!

Coming to Ana and Alessandro's place was a real pleasure and such a nice opportunity to come to Portugal ! I felt so warmly welcomed. A couple of days shared together to get to know the place, the cats and each other. Fletchie and Micio are adorable cats, so affectionate, soft and heart-driven creatures, such as their owners. I also loved the location 10 minutes away from the Ocean, a huge beach and the pine forest just next to the house. Thanks again for this warm and caring experience Ana and Alessandro :)
