Besoin et animaux

We have a lovely cat called Farinelli (aka Mowmow). He's 3 years old. He will need to be let out in the mornings and let back in late afternoon / early evening if you go out. Otherwise he'll enjoy your company and will be really happy to spend time with your along with going to play outside if you're having a day at home. Of course, cuddles will be required! We also have a few plants that will need watering. If you're good with a lawn mower, then keeping the grass under control would be great too! It takes less than ten minutes to do the whole garden.

Logement

Our house is a 3 / 4 bedroom 1920s detached house in a quiet area of Norwich. It's got a lovely garden and conservatory to enjoy sunny breakfasts. We are located about 20min walk from the city centre and there's a bus stop at the end of the street. Norwich is a lovely city with lots of things to do, great restaurants and pubs (two of which are just 5min walk away). A short drive out of the city will take you to the lovely Norfolk countryside, including the Norfolk Broads. The sea is about 35min drive.

We have some good quantity of books and DVDs, including our collection of cooking books. Chromecasts are setup in the living room, kitchen. You'll also have our two bikes at your disposal, with lock and helmets. Outside chairs and table, BBQ and outdoor fire. If you fancy, I also have a golf trolley with clubs, although they're a little mismatched!

Life's quiet in our house. All the windows are double-glazed and it's not a noisy neighbourhood anyway. Neighbours are very nice. Accommodation is a good size with three usable double bedrooms (including one with an ensuite in the chalet next to the house in the garden). We have fibre broadband along with NowTV and French television channels. There's a corner shop on our street and a supermarket about 10min walk. A independent baker is also located ten minutes walk away and the city centre is easy to get to. Bus stop at the end of the street. The train station is a ten minute drive / 40min walk away.

There's loads to do in and around Norwich! In the city: - Museums - Theatre - Shopping in the lanes - Great pubs and restaurants - Canoeing down the river - Historical buildings including two cathedrals and a castle In Norfolk: - The north Norfolk coast with beautiful beaches (around 40min away) - The Broads - 20min away or accessible by sailing down the river - The seal colony at Horsey beach - Banham zoo 30min away - Go Ape in Thetford Forest about 45min away - Winery tours: a few around Norwich but we recommend our friends at Flynt Vineyard! - Gorgeous countryside: everywhere around !

Matt et Marie sont adorables et très accueillants. La maison est confortable, la chambre d'accueil est très agréable, le petit jardin avec pelouse à l'arrière est parfait pour prendre un thé.....quand il fait beau ! Pour les jours de pluie, heureusement il y a une véranda bien adaptée. Le chat est des plus affectueux que j'ai rencontré ! J'ai passé un bon séjour chez Matt et Marie et je recommande cette "bonne" maison !
