We are a retired, strict non-smoking, responsible and active couple, able and willing to house-sit your property in Europe, USA, and Central America.
More than 30 years residing in, (and extensively traveling throughout), Europe and the Americas due to my job at the FAO of the U.N. and our desire to visit new places. (8 years in Italy and 7 in Spain; 8 in Ecuador and 6 in the Dominican Republic). For this reason, we do not act as avid tourists willing to visit places for the first time but prefer to stay at the sitting place enjoying the local amenities.
Both of us have higher education levels and have Spanish nationality.
We would like to get medium and long-term assignments (ideally, more than one month and up to one year). We offer responsibility, experience and utmost care for your property and pets, dogs or cats.
We offer you honesty, responsibility and utmost care for other's property. Experience working with people of different origin, race and religion. Ability to do DIY light maintenance around the house. Languages to get by anywhere: We are fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian and have a fair knowledge of French.
Our longest sitting assignment, so far, was for eight months at a large villa with gardens and two cats, close to Rome, Italy. Another sit was at Virginia, USA, for five weeks taking care of two lovely dogs, for the second time, since the owners invited us to repeat the sit of 2017.
The last assignment was at the Ardèche Mountains, not far from Lyon, France, taking care of a rural home and two dogs, Lissa and Cachou for five weeks.
