I'm a passionate explorer, nature lover and scientist who loves to travel, especially in beautiful, peaceful and inspiring locations - ancient woodlands, lakes, and beaches are perfect! I love animals and take every opportunity to engage with them. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets and give them lots of positive care and affection, I'm the person for you.

I am a cognitive and behavioural scientist by training. I enjoyed working in complex and dynamic systems, such as medicine or aviation, to improve those systems to make them safer and more efficient.

I love learning and regularly study new topics and languages.

I love travelling especially in and around Nature. I prefer rural locations where I can walk and hike with my gorgeous companion, a 12-year-old rescue who is inexhaustible and who loves the company of other animals. She's especially good at adapting to the needs of other animals, e.g., shy or nervous ones. She lost a companion a few years ago, which affected her deeply, but the chance to be around other dogs and cats through the house-sitting assignments has been a real blessing for both of us.

I have fostered more than a dozen dogs over the last 7 years and this is my fourth year formally house- and pet-sitting. I consider it an absolute pleasure and privilege to share someone else's home and look after their extended furry family. I am very respectful of others' space and would look after every home as if it were my own.

I'm very experienced with dogs, especially large and difficult ones and last year I began a clinical animal behaviourist program, which relates in large part to plans to open an adventure and training centre for dogs and human companions in 2024.

In terms of training methodology, I work with positive-only and force-free methods, almost entirely game-based and have a personal research interest in communication with animals, animal socialisation and the development of inter-species relationships.

I have a lot of experience giving medication to animals including tablets, injections, eye creams/drops, etc. During my experience house-sitting, I’ve also looked after other animals including horses, goats, rabbits, and birds, and I have personal experience caring for marine fish.
