Hello, my name is Therese (but feel free to call me Tess). I'm a 31 year old professional, working in the field of Marketing and Market Research for the past 5 years. My job allows me to travel, as I work remotely. I therefore am available year round, and can watch a home for long periods of time.
I can speak fluent Italian and basic Spanish and Portuguese.
In the last ten years, I have met many lovely pets and people because of housesitting. It has truly changed my life and is a real passion for me. I love animals and making new human friends too! I am happy to provide contact details for the homes of people I have watched, if needed.
A little bit about me personally... I love being active and outdoors, especially if I'm near the water - I'm very "ocean-minded"! Reading and writing are my biggest hobbies. I always have a book on my person, and I love languages. I've lived in Italy for 2 years, but I am American living in Hawaii. I have also done petsitting as a side income, though I do not charge on this site.
I love meeting new people, and reading about and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy talking and would be happy to introduce myself via Skype or a phone call to get to know potential home owners who would like me to house sit.
I have used other petsitting sites and found petsitting jobs outside of the internet as well (happy to send reviews and references). You can trust that I am very responsible and tidy, but most importantly, I love making sure animals are happy and healthy and well cuddled :)

Tess was a great cat sitter, she took care of our 2 cats with kind attention and they were in very good shape when we returned. She is discrete and keep very well the house. We highly recomand Tess for house and petsitting :-)

Tess was absolutely wonderful! I can tell my furbabies loved her. photo updates were so nice =^^=. I'm sure she's be great with any animals-clearly an animal lover! Our home was well looked after.- I only wished she lived in thailand ! TNX Tess -lifesaver!

It was great to know Tess was staying in my house while I was away. She gave me a feeling that my beloved furbabies were in good hands and being given all the love and attention they are need. She also sent me regular updates and lots of lovely photos of them, so I never felt worried about them at all. I had the most relaxing holiday ever thanks to Tess, and I will highly recommend her as a pet-sitter to anyone who loves their pets.
