I am a single woman in my early sixties. I love animals, and my petsitting experience has included cats, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, horses and donkeys (yes, I know how to muck out the stalls). As a translator (Spanish, Italian and German into English), my online work allows me the flexibility to take my job with me anywhere in the world. It also means that I am normally home all day to give your pets the care and attention that they need (which also provides me with a nice break from my work). I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I will care for your home and your pets as if they were my own. I am also experienced with giving pills and injections (my own cat, Mozart, was diabetic and required daily insulin injections for the last five years of her life). I am available for both long and short-term assignments. Although I usually do petsitting while travelling away from home, I am not travelling during the pandemic, so I am exclusively looking for petsitting opportunities in the Barcelona area at the moment.

Basia has watched Magnum twice and he absolutely loves her! She is able to give him medication when he needs it and takes excellent care of him. We're fortunate to have found her!

Basia es un encanto de persona ! Es muy tierna y a Hada mi gata, le encantó. Estaba muy tranquila en dejarle la gata y la casa. Desde su estancia, Hada esta muy tranquila también, parece que se le ha transmitido esta paz. Además Basia ha sido muy cuidadosa con todas las cosas de la casa y las plantas que cuidó de maravilla. Me envió también algunas fotos durante su estancia. La recomiendo a 100%% fui una experiencia muy bonita que sin duda repetiré ! Gracias Basia !

We feel very lucky that we found Basia. She made the experience very easy for us in these uncertain times when covid can change travel plans. It was so nice to meet her and also that she often sent us updates about the cats and clearly enjoyed spending time with them. She left our place very clean as well. We would love to have Basia stay with the cats again and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a catsitter!

Having Basia come and watch over our cat Magnum was a great experience. Due to the current situation surrounding the pandemic, our travel plans changed and she able to accommodate without any trouble. While we were gone she was very good with updates, which was important since this was our first experience with nomador. During our short stay away, she was able to warm up to Magnum, and when we returned he seemed very content and happy. We absolutely look forward to the possibility of having her return in the future and would highly recommend her for anyone needing a sitter!
