We are a responsible and well-travelled couple in our 50's who have enjoyed travelling the world our entire marriage and love discovering new and diverse cultures and people.
After many years in advertising in California, we decided to retire early, travel more and find interesting and unique ways of living. We are still US citizens, but currently are Nicaraguan residents and have lived in San Juan Del Sur since 2009.
After 28 years of marriage, we still very close and enjoy long walks and we both are very healthy. We are drug-free, non-smokers, and rarely drink. We both have great driving records and can drive manual or automatic transmissions with international drivers & motorcycle licenses and are both comfortable driving in any country. We can travel anywhere and don't have to worry about work or an online business. We focus our time on your home and pets. We are financially self-sufficient.

We strive to be as flexible as possible leaving at least 3 days to one week free either side of an assignment, then if for any reason plans change for your return date you only have one set of problems to deal with. Should you be unfortunate to have unforeseen flight delays or cancellations on your travels rest assured there will be none on your return home.

Why I want to house sit
We loved having house sitters in our own homes over the years. We loved the security it gives you while on your trip and peace of mind you get while away. Just knowing our home and dogs were safe and sound being well cared for and not lonely was the best feeling.
We would love to offer this same service to you. Providing care for your home and your pets is at the forefront of our minds as we take on your assignment where ever you may be, while also allowing us to have a very diverse lifestyle.
We both speak Spanish and English. We are currently house sitting. A lot of times we do book out months in advance. If your dates are set every year and you like the security of knowing your sitter is confirmed. We are always open to advance bookings. However, We also are flexible. we leave gaps open for the shorter sits. We are up for anything.

Tamra and David are wonderful, we felt completely comfortable with them right away, and Mike(our dog) was straight in there for a cuddle! They are very experienced house and pet sitters who show a real love for animals. They took excellent care of our dog and we came home to a beautifully clean house and thriving plants. They have a social media account for their pet sits where they kept us updated with pictures every day, kept consistent communication and we hope to have them back again for another sit. Mike surely misses them and i would highly recommend them to anyone, thank you so much guys!
