Henry and Ilona have a wonderful menagerie of dogs and cats. Clearly they love their rescue pets--and we loved them, too. It was so fun to feed everyone all at once, and watch how the animals shared the food and gave each other space to eat. Beautiful animals!

Our journey in Aruba was fantastic. Ilona et Herry were very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. We really enjoyed their company and the interesting conversations we shared together. They gave us lots of information about Aruba and also restaurants to go to. They lent us their car so that we could travel all around the island and went to all the interesting places we wanted to see in Aruba. The houseis comfortable and is within walking distance of the beach and a supermarket. The pets were very easy to care for and we spent lovely time taking care of them.We stayed in communication with Ilona and Herry during their trip using social media. There was also their housekeeper coming regularly to keep everything tidy in the house. Everything was perfect and easy, we enjoyed a very relaxing time. Aruba is really one happy island to discover !

We had an absolutely amazing time in Aruba sitting for Ilona and Herry and their gorgeous group of animals. We have to say, that we loved every minute of our stay in their beautiful home and we felt privileged to have had this opportunity. Their wonderful house is in an excellent location close to some of the best beaches on the island but at the same time is an oasis of calm and we enjoyed many hours relaxing in their garden catching glimpses of the hummingbirds and other wildlife that came to visit. However, what we really enjoyed most was spending time with their rescue cats and dogs, who were wonderful company. What can we say about the two dogs, Pixel and Rover? They were possibly the sweetest pair of dogs we've had the pleasure to take care of. Pixel is the happiest dog we've ever met and Rover is a wonderfully sensitive but playful soul and to see how much they love each other was a joy to watch! All of the cats, like the dogs, were rescued by Ilona and Herry and therefore have such wide-ranging personalities with some spending more time with us than others, like the super-friendly Mao, Cookie and Wakanda. The three stunning tortoiseshells Ayla, Coco and Klein are a little more timid but once they get to know you want to spend as much time with you as possible. Musa, the handsome tabby came and went quite often but was always up for a cuddle and Georgina, the newest addition to the family, became closer and closer to us by the day, despite only having been rescued by Ilona and Herry just before we arrived. Ilona and Herry were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. We spent some time with them before and after the sit and really enjoyed their company and the conversations we shared together. They helped us see a side of Aruba that normally many visitors would get the chance to experience, and for that we are extremely grateful. We can't wait to go back to Aruba and see them all again!!

We had a fantastic time at Herry and Ilona's place in Aruba. They have a wonderful house and Aruba is an amazing place to visit. Looking after the rescue pets was very easy and a delight. The pets were very friendly and provided a lot of entertainment. H&I gave us very detailed instructions and were constantly available for any questions, even when travelling. It was a pleasure to meet them before and after the sit. This housesit could not have gone better.
