We are a couple who took early retirement to live in Northern France in January 2011. We thought we could do self-sufficiency but really only played at it. We bought a run down farmhouse and have been renovating it and trying to create a self sufficient lifestyle. We try to grow as much fruit, vegetable and herbs as possible. We used to keep ducks, chickens and goats and we have two cats. .In September all that changed. Michael had cancer of the throat so we moved and now we have a small fermette, a small garden and no pets so we can just shut up and come and see you without further problems.

Suzi and Mick were very welcoming and showed us around the village and left info about things to do locally. Sit would suit keen gardeners, plenty to do in the garden and poly tunnels. Village is in peaceful, rolling countryside and close to many Somme/historic monuments and museums.
