Maryann and Rudy are business owners in their fifties and sixties, living in East Cork, Ireland. We travel extensively, while working remotely. We have been pet owners for our entire lives and have recently said goodbye to our beloved wolfhound mix, Rufus at the grand age of 14 and half. Now we would like to continue to visit interesting places and at the same time meet some interesting pets. We fully understand leaving your pet family at home can be a difficult decision. Knowing that they are in the hands of people who will love and care for them as though they are their own, is a very important part of travel for families that include pets. We've been so grateful to our nomador travellers who looked after Rufus and our home, we'd now like to do the same and continue to be a part of this great community.

The Madsens' architect-designed, modern home overlooking the River Stick is a real gem. I spent nearly a month taking care of Rufus, my old hound-dog pal, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Close to the pretty, historic town of Kinsale and all it has to offer including boating and sightseeing trips along the Wild Atlantic Way, which starts right here. Hosts Rudy and MaryAnn were great fun to hang out with before they left and I'm hoping we can do it again soon. One of the best!
