I'm a software engineer in my late 40s, a friendly non-smoker, and a fellow pet enthusiast.
Being a cat owner (and many dogs during my life!) and host myself, I understand the importance of finding someone reliable to take care of your place and your beloved companions. Sadly my own cats won't be travelling with me as going away from home is very distressing for them, bless!
I will be attentive to your specific requests, exercising care, discretion, and responsibility while house-sitting for you. I like to keep you posted on how things are going while you are away, and send pictures of your pets, as when I'm away from my own pets, I love knowing they are having a good time
I like to be surrounded by a nice enviroment in my house and wherever I go, therefore I'm particularly sensitive about keeping things tidy and clean.
Nature holds a special place in my heart, but I also relish the thrill of exploring new cities and discovering those special hidden spots away from tourists.
In my downtime, you'll find me running, practising yoga or lost in a good book while listening to calming music.

I came to Edinburgh for a workcation week as a freelancer and had a fantastic experience. I was warmly welcomed by Argy, who went out of her way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. She accommodated me in another apartment when I arrived two days early and stayed an extra day, which was very kind and made my stay even better. She really made me feel at home in her home, and in Edinburgh, with great recommendations for places to go and things to do. The flat itself is very clean and well furnished. The programmed robot vacuum cleaner made it easy to keep the place tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the bedroom has a large TV for relaxing in bed. The two cats, Gertie and Fergus, are incredibly sweet and easy to care for. They kept me great company and were a joy to look after. The workspace in the flat is large and comfortable, and I was even lent a large monitor, which was very helpful for my work. I had a wonderful week in Edinburgh and managed to explore a lot. The location close to the city centre is very convenient, with shops just around the corner and a bus stop right in front of the building. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and I would love to come back!
