Do you like needy, spoiled cats? Because that's what we have. Sid has spent his entire life having his every whim indulged and it shows. Sorry about that. He’s an elderly gentleman who likes to have access to dry food at all times and a wet food snack for lunch. Although it’s okay to just load him up on dry food if you’re not going to be around. Water needs to be refreshed every day you're here, and litter boxes scooped every other day. Mail gets delivered daily; garbage pick up is Fridays; recycling gets picked up alternate Tuesdays. Garbage and recycling need to go out early in the morning or the night before.

Charming, historic row home in downtown Baltimore with very friendly neighbors. Two bedrooms, two baths. Bright and updated. Has in-house washer/dryer. Walk to Baltimore landmarks, bars, restaurants, museums, shops, waterfront, Orioles/Ravens games and more. Or take a quick train to DC and check out all the capitol has to offer. Also a 3-hour train ride to NYC if you want to make a long day or overnight of it. Our home and neighborhood are LGBTQ friendly.

Tucked away in a tiny neighborhood, our home is a quiet respite from the city, but just a couple blocks from the action. We're in a very walkable area of Baltimore. If you like to walk, you can get everywhere you want to go on foot, or you can hop on the city circulator bus, or call a Lyft/Uber. Orioles and Ravens stadiums are just a short walk away, and so is the Inner Harbor with the National Aquarium. From the Inner Harbor, hop on a water taxi to Fells Point or Fort McHenry and explore Baltimore history. We often take the train into DC, Philadelphia or NYC for more action. And when we're ready to wind down, we relax on the patio or at the park with some wine or read a book in front of the fireplace.

Baltimore is a conveniently walkable city, packed with history. Take advantage of everything going on at the Inner Harbor by getting a day pass on the water taxi. You're so close to DC, don't miss out on all the free cultural activities the capitol offers (museums, concerts, monuments, festivals, zoo). Annapolis is a short drive and Maryland's beautiful eastern shore is nearby.

Shannon and Bert are a kind and out-going couple with two of the sweetest (and yes neediest) cats I've ever met. I didn't want to ever leave them! Sid will follow you around and keep you company throughout the house, while Willow likes to do her own thing and then come get her attention time when she's ready. They are both very well tempered animals with lots of personality. Shannon and Bert were very welcoming and kept open communication which I appreciated even though they were on a different continent. They gave clear instructions, (also appreciated) on what to expect from the cats as well as around the neighborhood. They provided tons of recommendations on things to do, see, and eat in the area. Baltimore is full of history and culture and is great place to just take a walk around. Their (beautiful) home is warm, well equipped, and I felt safe staying there. I would go back and watch these two spoiled cats in an instant. Thank-you for allowing me to get to know them and experience a little bit of your fascinating city.

Shannon and Bert were very thoughtful in getting us set up before they left. We had frequent communication leading up to their departure, and they hosted us the night before so we were comfortable with their cats and home. They were responsive to my questions during their time away as well. The cats are adorable and we enjoyed caring for them, and their house is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, and an art museum. It was a fun urban experience to stay there.
