I have been school teacher for over 25 years and I have a wonderful daughter who is 9 years old who loves to read and illustrate her own books. She is very used to animals as she grew up with our dog, Sylvie. We have had many different pets over the years (Fish, Turtle, Iguana, Cats, Dogs, Rat, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs). Our last pet was a wonderful Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loved the ocean and ran circles in her excitement (which was all the time!). Since she passed away, we have been longing to have an animal in our life and we look forward to taking care of other pets. We look longingly at everybody's dogs, cats, rabbits etc. and wonder which animal will join our family one day. I was a Biology teacher in my early years of teaching and have studied human biology intensively. It has helped me to care for the many different animals in our lives including most recently our dog who had torn the interior cruciate ligament in the knee and later suffered and succumbed to cancer. We were living in Berlin for 10 years and have since moved to Brussels Belgium for the past two years. We have been pet sitting together while we were in Berlin and especially in Brussels. Pet sitting is a wonderful way for our family to feel "at home" and also enjoy a new life in Belgium. As a side note, after university and before being married, I was pet sitting a lot, volunteered at animal shelters, and was a dog walker. As a biology teacher, I adopted many class pets ranging from rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and an iguana. With regards to gardening, I myself grew up on nearly 2 acres of property and had demanding chores to maintain the property - transplanting trees, cutting down trees, mowing the grass, weeding, setting up sprinkler systems, growing a vegetable garden. I have helped to restore my mother's rental home for the next rental cycles and as a school owner, I have combined rental units to expand my school and built classrooms and restored bathrooms and kitchen. I understand how to care and maintain homes.

Suzanne looked after our flat and cat for a week and we couldn't have been happier! We received daily updates and she went above and beyond to make sure our cat was happy and the flat was well looked after. It was our first experience with Nomador and we couldn't have asked for a better house-sitter.

C'est avec un grand plaisir que nous avons accueilli Suzanne et sa famille chez nous pour notre 1ère expérience Nomador. Suzanne est une personne de confiance, qui sait mettre les gens à l'aise. Elle nous a donné très régulièrement des nouvelles de nos animaux avec beaucoup de photos et de vidéos. A notre retour nos petites boules de poils étaient aussi heureuses qu'à notre départ, et cela se voyait qu'elles avaient reçu beaucoup d'attentions et de tendresse de la part de Suzanne. La maison était très propre, et bien entretenue. Je la recommande à 100 %% si vous souhaitez profitez de vos vacances en toute sérénité.

Suzanne and her family took care of our animals during two weeks. It was a challenge because of the number of differents animals, and they did it perfectly. We received regularly news and photos, and all animals seem to enjoy a lot this lovely presence. I would totally recommend her to take care of home and animals.
