We are a well travelled couple, late fifties and early 60s, and semi retired with our Tuxedo cat Ky-mani. Hubby (Tony) works casually as a locum pharmacist and we own and operate a unique and small award winning B&B in a small coastal town on the Sapphire Coast in Australia. We are very house proud and will take the same pride and care with your home as we do our own.
We have decided it is time to wind down our B&B and move on to our next venture.
We love pets, especially cats, and we love to travel. We'd like to combine these passions in our next lifestyle change.
Rest assured, we will bring the same passion and enthusiasm to your home and fur babies as we have brought to our own home, family and B&B.
Our house sitting experiences has been primarily from the other side. We regularly have house sitters when we travel and so we feel confident of being able to take on the role of house sitting from our experience of what matters to us.
That said I have a couple for whom I regularly house sit for them and their 2 beautiful cats, and we have 2 much loved grand dogs in our family.
We understand only too well the trust that is required in sharing your home and fur babies to someone who starts off as a total stranger. But your fur babies will be loved as our own in your absence, and your home taken care of with care and pride.
We are very independent and love nothing more than to immerse ourselves in new places and experiences, rather than be tourists passing by. We are learning French and so it is probably fair to say we speak Franglaise! :)
Our preference is for house sits a minimum 2-3 weeks as it's quite a flight to most places from Australia :)
