I am a single woman in my early sixties. I love animals, and my petsitting experience has included cats, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, horses and donkeys (yes, I know how to muck out the stalls). As a translator (Spanish, Italian and German into English), my online work allows me the flexibility to take my job with me anywhere in the world. It also means that I am normally home all day to give your pets the care and attention that they need (which also provides me with a nice break from my work). I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I will care for your home and your pets as if they were my own. I am also experienced with giving pills and injections (my own cat, Mozart, was diabetic and required daily insulin injections for the last five years of her life). I am available for both long and short-term assignments. Although I usually do petsitting while travelling away from home, I am not travelling during the pandemic, so I am exclusively looking for petsitting opportunities in the Barcelona area at the moment.

Ha sido un placer conocer a Basia y contar con su ayuda para cuidar a nuestra gata Kami. Basia es atenta, muy educada, amable, buena conversadora y se nota que le gustan los gatos. Hemos encontrado el piso perfecto, limpio y ordenado y nuestra gatita estaba tranquila a nuestra llegada. Sin duda, volveremos a contactar con ella para próximas vacaciones :)

Basia is a very nice and friendly person. She took a very good care of the cats and kept us informed on a regular basis. Also, the apartment was clean and tidy, so I can recommend her to everyone who is looking for a great pet sitter :)))

I have found the experience with Basia very pleasant! She is very friendly and understands that its not easy to leave your pet behind, but will make you feel at ease to leave your pet in her care. She takes good care of the house/plants as well and is clearly an animal lover. She is happy to send regular updates, and it seemed that our leaving barely caused any stress on our cat. The house was left super clean as well! Would definitely recommend, it was great having you :)
