My wife is a published author, so realizing we could work from anywhere, we decided to come back to my home town - Guadalajara, Mexico. After a year there, we moved to Colima, Mexico, and are going on our third year here. So far, we're loving it! I teach English as a second language online, but I am an aspiring photographer, working on my craft while we're down here, while she continues at her work.

My first international house sit was fantastic, thanks to Hector & Jen. These two are the loveliest, sweetest couple, and their furbabies were a pleasure to keep and great company, too! Their home (and neighborhood) is quiet, private and very secure. It is the perfect getaway if you just want to hang out around the house and write, as I did. Or, if you want to get out and see some sights, it it perfectly situated in close proximity to some great tourist attractions. I highly recommend visiting Colima. The locals are kind and the vibe is super chill.

We very much enjoyed sitting for Hector and his wife. Both dogs were very well behaved, intelligent and just an overall pleasure to be with. Communication, before and during the sit, was never lacking and they left us well prepared with information if any situation should arise. The home is very well decorated, very functional and comfortable. Their decorating taste has to be commended, very impressive indeed.
